This advanced IMO Type 2/3 vessel exemplifies Synergy’s commitment to innovation, efficiency and sustainability, further strengthening our fleet of cutting-edge tankers.

The “PRECIOUS ADELAIDE” represents a significant technological leap compared to its predecessors, such as the 5th generation MR tankers. Built with sustainability and operational excellence in mind, this new build reflects Synergy’s leadership in modern shipbuilding and our ability to deliver vessels tailored for the future of maritime transportation.

Key Features of the “PRECIOUS ADELAIDE”

Enhanced Fuel Efficiency

Enhanced Fuel Efficiency:
Optimised hull and propeller designs deliver 10% improved fuel efficiency, reducing fuel oil
consumption at NCR from 20.6 t/day to 18.1 t/day.

Advanced Propulsion System:
Replacing the ESD, the vessel has a Full Spade Rudder with Bulb (FSRB) for improved manoeuvrability and efficiency.

Energy-Saving Technology

Energy-Saving Technology:
Equipped with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) for heavy-duty motors and an E-course pilot
system to achieve further fuel savings.

Safety Innovations

Safety Innovations:
These include an anemometer with high wind alarm, enhancing safety during adverse weather conditions.

Sustainability Enhancements

Sustainability Enhancements:
Energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the vessel;
