Leadership Team
Presently the head of Synergy’s Dubai office, Thomas is also responsible for the group’s chemical tanker section. He has over 24 years of maritime experience, including sailing and managing chemical tankers from shore. Thomas has earned an MBA specialising in Finance and Operations from S P Jain School of Global Management. He believes adaptable leadership is the key to sustainability.
Capt. Thomas Varghese
Captain Yatin Rawal joined Synergy in 2021 after 17 years at sea. With emphasis on leadership, risk management and compliance, and with proactive safety driving long-term sustainability, Yatin is a key offshore vessel management DPA and QHSE Manager. His expertise in quality assurance, digital transformation and operational excellence ensures resilient and secure practices, and he enjoys good times with family and friends, exploring new cultures and a leisurely read.
Synergy Marine Group is a member of The Getting to Zero Coalition, dedicated to launching zero-emission deep-sea vessels by 2030 and achieving full decarbonisation by 2050. The Global Maritime Forum, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and Friends of Ocean Action, founded and manages the Coalition.
