Synergy brings in ex-Unifeeder boss Jesper Kristensen as new CEO

Jesper Kristensen has stepped into the group CEO role at Singapore ship manager Synergy Marine. The industry veteran joins Synergy after stepping down from DP World-controlled feeder operator Unifeeder last year, where he was Group CEO for 17 years.

Danish shipping veteran settles in Singapore

After 17 years as CEO of Unifeeder, Jesper Kristensen, in his new role as Group CEO of Synergy Marine Group, will oversee 30 offices, 24,000 seafarers, and 682 ships from Singapore. Jesper Kristensen assumed the role of Group CEO of the ship management company Synergy Marine Group in Singapore on Monday, March 24.

Jesper Kristensen re-emerges as CEO of Synergy Marine

Veteran executive Jesper Kristensen has returned to shipping as chief executive of Singapore ship manager Synergy Marine Group. The company said Kristensen took on the job on Monday “to lead Synergy in its era of transformation and will focus on continuing to develop the global operational footprint”.

‘Significant milestone’: New ship management venture formed for offshore ships

Cyprus-based owner EDT Offshore has formed a new ship management company with Synergy Marine Group of Singapore.
EDT Synergy Shipmanagement aims to deliver “innovative and sustainable” operations and solutions, addressing industry challenges in decarbonisation and digitalisation, the partners said.The Limassol owner and its global ship management partner said the new company had been registered in Cyprus.

EDT Offshore and Synergy Marine Group join hands to tap Indian manpower for global offshore industry

Cyprus-based EDT Offshore and Singapore’s Synergy Marine Group have launched EDT Synergy Shipmanagement Ltd, a joint venture to hire manpower from India for global offshore industry. They will deliver tailored ship management solutions to the offshore industry. Synergy Marine Group is the world’s second-largest ship manager and the largest third-party manager of Indian-flagged vessels.
