Renowned for his innovative and forward-thinking leadership on sustainability, diversity and technology, and his ability to forge thought and technical partnerships with like-minded companies. A passionate marathoner, Captain Unni is vocal supporter of shipping’s net zero emissions ambition by 2050. He is a leading business creator, committed family man and determined philanthropist.

Jeevan Gadre

Jeevan has an enduring passion for ship management and is the Technical Director at Synergy Navis. His drive and zeal for growth is reflected in his high-performing team, and he is a firm believer in rational, rather than emotional, decision-making in aid of an optimal outcome. Jeevan enjoys travelling and the challenge of running half-marathons.

Manas Ray

Manas joined Synergy in 2014, and as a Technical Manager he oversees the maintenance of 26 tankers. He has 14 years of seagoing experience and transferred to shore in 2010. Manas attributes advancement at Synergy to the friendliness of its employees, team collaboration and initiatives to upgrade skill sets. He is very keen on fitness, with tennis his passion.

Capt. Sairaj Mulladh

Sairaj has nearly 25 years of maritime experience and leads the ship management team at Synergy Navis. He has spearheaded vital initiatives which have promoted it to the industry’s forefront. A devoted family man, Sairaj is also an active philanthropist who volunteers for social causes, and he invests some of his leisure time in meditation and yoga.

Capt. Vikash Kumar Jha

Head of Synergy’s QHSE department, Vikash first went to sea in 1996. He joined Synergy in 2017 and became a QHSE Superintendent in 2018. He finds life at Synergy very enjoyable, with great work ethics and a wholly supportive atmosphere that ensures both physical and also psychological safety. Vikash favours spending quality time with family and enjoys travel and music.

Capt. Vinod Nair

An avid trekker, Vinod has been a DPA/Marine Manager with Synergy since 2017 and leads a team operating chemical and product tankers with optimal safety, efficiency and client satisfaction. He first went out to sea in 1997 and sailed exclusively on chemical tankers. Synergy’s safe and positive work environment enables him to engage his passion for contributing to its progress.

Capt. Vinod Nair

Capt. Yazad Boomla

Yazad has over 20 years of seagoing experience and manages a team of marine superintendents in overseeing the operations of chemical and oil tankers. He has been with Synergy since 2016, and respects its strong baseline culture of psychological safety that places the right skill in the right activity, irrespective of hierarchy. Yazad loves reading, TV shows, film and travelling.

IMPA

Synergy Marine Group is involved in IMPA Save’s initiative to reduce single-use water bottles at sea. The IMPA SAVE council comprises top global shipowners and suppliers, representing over 8000 vessels with significant combined purchasing influence.
