Synergy × Mercy Ships Denmark
Mercy Ships operates the world’s largest civilian hospital vessels, the “GLOBAL MERCY” and the “AFRICA MERCY”, bringing free, life-changing surgical care and medical training to communities across Africa. Their volunteer surgeons, nurses and specialists work alongside local health systems to build long-term capability where access to safe surgery is often limited.
Synergy Marine Group supports this mission through a close collaboration with Mercy Ships Denmark, which operates from within our Copenhagen office. Our teams provide ongoing maritime assistance and stewardship that helps strengthen their operational readiness and outreach.
This partnership reflects values that have long guided Synergy: service, responsibility, and respect for human dignity. It also represents our belief that the maritime industry can contribute meaningfully beyond its commercial role, enabling essential care to reach the people who need it most.
Why This Partnership Matters
Expanding access to safe, essential surgical care in underserved regions
Strengthening local medical capacity through education and training
Supporting volunteer-driven humanitarian missions with maritime know-how
Demonstrating people-centred leadership rooted in stewardship and purpose
A Shared Commitment
Together with Mercy Ships Denmark, we remain committed to advancing a mission grounded in compassion, dignity and long-term community benefit.
