Dammam, Saudi Arabia, 03 November 2025 – Synergy Ship Arabia, the Dammam registered offshore division of Synergy Marine Group, has assumed full technical management of five self-propelled jack up barges owned by Jana Marine, along with several other offshore support vessels deployed for ARAMCO projects. The expansion strengthens Synergy’s role in Saudi Arabia’s offshore sector, combining global management expertise with Vision 2030 goals for sustainable growth.
The barges Jana 505, 506, 507, 508 and 509 support ARAMCO’s offshore operations. This development consolidates Synergy’s position as a full service offshore manager in the wider GCC region.
Jack up barges operate in a demanding offshore environment, where energy efficiency, fuel options and the need for future ready retrofits are increasingly important considerations.
Synergy leverages global expertise and proven best practices gained from managing over 700 vessels worldwide, adapting systems of operational discipline, predictive maintenance and digital integration to the unique requirements of offshore assets. This approach ensures the jack-up barges operate safely, efficiently and with a long-term focus on sustainability.
This milestone also reflects a broader commitment. These units align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the Kingdom’s blueprint for economic diversification and sustainable growth. By strengthening Saudi workforce participation, developing domestic supply chain capabilities and fostering innovation, Synergy and Jana Marine are supporting offshore infrastructure that delivers both present reliability and future resilience.
