Synergy Marine Group Joins United Nations Global Compact

UNGC

In 2020 Synergy Marine Group signed the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

The UNGC is a voluntary initiative that encourages businesses worldwide to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies, to align strategies with ten universal principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption and to take actions to advance societal goals, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.

Synergy Marine Group has joined more than 12,000 companies in over 160 countries worldwide that have committed to making the UNGC and its principles a part of their strategy and culture.

Business should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights.

Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges.

Businesses should undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility.

Businesses should encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
