Capt. Anshul Rajvanshi, MD of Synergy Maritime Recruitment Services, accepting the award on behalf of Capt. Rajesh Unni.

At Synergy Marine Group we believe that genuine leadership is about making a meaningful difference through collaboration, innovation and sustainability. On 30 November 2024 this ethos was beautifully captured as our founder and Chairman, Captain Rajesh Unni, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the prestigious Seajob Indian Anchor Awards, hosted by the Sea Line Group.

This Award, decided by a vote among worldwide shipping professionals, is a testament to Captain Unni’s enduring contributions to the maritime sector. It recognises his relentless drive to advance industry standards, foster human sustainability, and inspire joint and cooperative progress.

Accepting the Award on his behalf, Captain Anshul Rajvanshi, Managing Director of Synergy Maritime Recruitment Services, shared a message from Captain Unni that reflected his hallmark humility:

“Seafaring has given me everything—opportunities, lifelong learning, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to others,” Captain Unni began. Continuing with further heartfelt words, he emphasised that success is not about individual accolades but about the collective impact of teamwork – people working in concert. He urged the maritime world to prioritise human sustainability and to lead with inclusivity, empowerment and high standards, in order to inspire future generations.

Inspiration for the Maritime Industry

Captain Unni’s recognition comes at a pivotal moment for our sector, as we navigate challenges like decarbonisation, digital transformation and workforce dynamics. His focus on fostering collaboration also aligns with Synergy Marine Group’s mission to set benchmarks in ship management and crew welfare.

And at the core of his message lies a powerful call to action:

  • To nurture talent and innovation in a fast-evolving industry
  • To create lasting impact by empowering communities
  • To build a sustainable, standards-driven future for maritime transport.

Creating a Legacy of Excellence

The Seajob Indian Anchor Awards, established by the Sea Line Group, celebrate excellence across the maritime industry, and this recognition of Captain Unni underscores Synergy Marine Group’s values of integrity, innovation and inclusivity.

Captain Unni’s leadership continues to inspire our teams, driving Synergy to continue to innovate and create value across global supply chains. His philosophy of shared progress resonates deeply with our commitment to empowering seafarers and fostering sustainable growth in the marine sector.

A Shared Mission

Synergy stands united in pursuit of eminence in our industry, and Captain Unni’s Lifetime Achievement Award is not just a recognition of his individual journey but a celebration of what we can achieve together.

As we look ahead, we remain steadfast in our vision of shaping a maritime world that champions collaboration, drives innovation, and leaves a positive legacy for generations to come.

Join us in celebrating this milestone and embracing the collective spirit that defines true success.
