Synergy Maritime Pvt. Ltd. has been recognised as an Outstanding Foreign Employer of Indian Seafarers at the 63rd National Maritime Day Celebrations held in Mumbai. This marks the third consecutive year that the company has received this recognition in the category for organisations with more than 1,000 shipboard berths.

The award was conferred by the National Maritime Day Celebrations (Central) Committee and presented by Shri Shyam Jagannathan, IAS, Director General of Shipping, Government of India. It was received by Mr. Maneesh Pradhan, Managing Director – Global Head of Crewing, along with members of the Synergy team.

The recognition reflects Synergy’s sustained focus on seafarer-centric practices across its global operations. These include inclusive crewing, structured training and upskilling pathways, mental health and welfare initiatives, and a strong safety culture embedded across the fleet.

The submission for this year’s award drew on operational and human-centric examples from both shipboard and shore teams, highlighting a consistent approach to workforce development and long-term engagement with seafarers.

Synergy Marine Group extends its appreciation to the Directorate General of Shipping and the NMDC (Central) Committee for this recognition. The Group also congratulates fellow recipients and industry stakeholders contributing to the continued development of India’s maritime workforce.
