I am lucky to be working for Synergy Group Operations Inc. as my very first job. I have been with the company for coming up to two years, now. I had never thought that I would actually love my daily work, but I definitely do. I think it is because of the people here. My teammates are friendly and very accommodating in helping me learn the ropes and the admin. staff and my superiors care for us like a family. Late 2019 and most certainly 2020 were tough and trying times, but because of our good management, we were able to navigate through the challenges of the pandemic. Watching the company continue to rise through great heights makes me even more motivated to do my tasks well and be part of its success. I am very thankful to belong here and am one proud Synergian.

Marking seven fine years with Synergy, I feel privileged and proud to be a small part of the company’s success and its growth in leaps and bounds. Candidly, I was given an opportunity to join Synergy at a very difficult juncture of my personal life, and it has truly been a remarkable and exciting journey. Under its outstanding leadership, Synergy has motivated me to explore new avenues and also help set new trends. Synergy’s anthem “Chalte rahe” captures how I feel in rhyme: Good, Better, Best. Let us never rest, until the Good is Better and the Better, Best, and Aage badhte rahe hum (“Let’s keep walking together”). It feels awesome to be a Synergian.captures how I feel in rhyme: Good, Better, Best. Designation: Training Manager
Time with Synergy: 3.5 Years
Location: Manila, Philippines

I had a very satisfying and wholly rewarding progression from Engineer Cadet in 2000 to Chief Engineer in 2013, and had never thought about changing direction. However, in 2017 I started talks with Synergy, and joined them as a Technical Superintendent in November that year. Similarly, the work was challenging, and of course there were some adjustments, but things went smoothly because of the support of the whole team. Another part of my career development ashore was in February 2019, when I got promoted to Training Manager. That meant even more responsibility, including assessing training needs, updating effective modules and helping implement the whole programme to take the Training Department one step closer to its goals.

Synergy is the kind of place where you are supported in order to thrive in a change of career path. It is a tremendous honour to be part of the Synergy family, and I enjoy and also love my work. Part of the reward is that you are indeed part of a family that treats and thinks of you as such, and that is a very special feeling.

I am eight years into what is a great journey with Synergy, and as ever enjoyable time passes quickly. Life here is full of learning experiences, great interaction with colleagues and new challenges daily, all of which has helped me develop within the organisation. The senior and indeed all managers are always very supportive and friendly, and I feel proud to be Synergian and thank the team that I am happily part of for all their insight and guidance.
